Have you any biodigest or other product to reduce the Ammonia, Nitrites and Nitrates?

im back! no odin, i didnt. after leaving the tank there for a week with 12hrs of light per day, both brown and green algae grew, something grew on the water surface as well, do i need to clear that up? Manage to see only 4 shrimps now.

Water parameters week 1 > 2
PH - 8.4 > 8.2
Ammonia - 0.5 > 0
Nitrite - 0 > 0.25
Nitrate - 20 > 10

I would still recommend a water change to bring those Nitrites and Nitrates down, you will be getting algae growth from the abundance of nutrients in the water now.

The surface will go through a few changes while your tank completes its nitrogen cycle and you don’t need to touch that so all is good On that front!

will the nitrates go down eventually on its own? Do u still recommend a 50% water change even dou the readings had improved?

Hi guys, i have never see rounded spots in the shrimp saddle before, usually it is just a black patch. Could this be the start of pregnancy or is it not? It is still hanging high in the saddle so im unsure if it is a case of pregnancy. pls advise me, thank u!
