Hey guys, so I set everything up today (super excited) was told reading between 1.008-1.018 for salinity is best for the opea ula. This is the reading I got using instant ocean and a refractometer. Any good?
Just need some confirmation if I have got it right

@odin o did not think of taking a photo at the time. I gave it a good wash and it was when I was washing it that there was just a few bubbles forming on my hands when I decided to smell it and it smelled a little chemically to me.
I have already put it in the jar 😐 and has been sitting there since saturday. However when pouring water into the jar no bubbles were formed at the time.
I read after that they sometimes wash dried coral with bleach solution and I am praying this is not the case. Do you think I should just remove it??
