Yes. There are shops selling Opae Ula in closed bottles as Eco system.

I got those too. But find it cruel and no breeding possible. Read alot and decided to convert into tank.
From 1 tank to 3... :smile:Addictive.

Oh that's interesting, what sort of price are the eco systems to buy or how much per shrimp to buy alone?

Can you update me on your tank?

Size and how much It holds?
Quantity of shrimp?
How old is the tank?
What water type did you use?
What SG and temperature is the water?
How old are the shrimp?
What are the water parameters, (ammonia, nitrites and nitrates)?
Can we have some photos?
What are your feeding routines?

That's a great tank by the way!

My breeding tank parameters for reference:
Ammonia: 0ppm
Nitrites: 0ppm
Nitrates: 0ppm
PH: 8ppm
SG: 1.012 / 1.013
Temp: 24/25 degrees
Water: RO from the fish shop and instant ocean marine salt
Food: Feed once a week shrimplab's spirulina
Light: 12 hours of light a day

Just looking over your answer i would say you need to:
- Use RO water instead of tap water.
- Stop messing around and re-scaping the tank as the shrimp need their tank to be stable and undisturbed.
- Remove the filter and pump.
- Top up the tank to the top.

Your tank is also extremely clean did you clean the walls when you rescaped?

Thanks.
I will remove the filter for start. I will also slowly do water change with bottled distilled water. I didn't do any cleaning of the tank. There are 2 very hard working nerite snail in the tank.

You wont need prime or water de-chlorinators with RO/Distilled water.
