So how many tanks do you currently have? Is it still just the 7.5 gallon? if so how many do you think you have in there?

Hi Vorteil,

Same three tanks listed in first post. Tough question. I say 250+ in 7.5 gallon and around and 200+ in the baby tank. Still only two Alphas with 30+ Opae Ula in that tank.

I was trying to estimate on baby tank and notice some golden Opae Ula I think...

Very interesting color. Those look like they're full grown. In the 7.5 tank they are breeding well?

It started out as a baby tank but of course they grew to adults along with new babies I put in or offsprings from Opae Ula within the tank.

Still breeding in all tanks even the one with Alphas.

Your tanks breeding too right?

Mine are still breeding. The strange thing is I'll see newly released larvae free floating for a day or two and then they disappear. Not sure where they've gone or possibly died? This just happened in two tanks.

Oh, yeah I have the same issue with my large tank and that is one of the reasons for the baby tank two years ago. I do have a cave in the volcano rock in the big tank and I assume they float in there (my reasoning for the disappearance).

Do you notice small opae ula roaming around later?

In my Alpha tank, i think the larvae are eating...
