Dont need estimate, 9 gallon tank at 70f to 74f. More info below. This is also the temperature I use currently in my tanks : )

But you're right, the original shrimp are mostly red and always grouped together so I think they were lonely before

Now I have more shrimps I've kitted out there tank with more placed for them to hide and explore.
