My Opae Ula seem to be fine now. Could this white stuff be a kind of a salt deposit?

I doubt it, any more updates on the tank?

Yes. Now the tank seems to do ok. The little swimmers seem happy. I sucked the white stuff away whatever it was. And I use a dimmer light now. Opaes like it so far. The snails also seem to like it a lot more. The sad thing: Now ALL the Algae went away :what: But check out the clarity!

The test says:

0 No3 mg/l Nitrate
0 No2 mg/l Nitrite
400 Ca mg/l
6 dKh carbonate hardness
7.4 ph

Is this legit? I guess so right? Please clarify master of Opae Ula keeping.

Another quick question about my snails. Are these good test results for my snails in terms of shell growth?

That's a great looking tank! What is your substrate made of? If you are not getting any ammonia or nitrites and very low Nitrates you are on to a winner.

Great, you wont have any issues with snails shells and PH being too low for the shrimp either.
