At the end of the month I will spend a few days on the Opal Coast. I will probably collect some materials to start some jarrariums of salt and brackish water.
Do you have any specific advice on things (algae, plants, critters...) I can find there that could be add to a, still to come, opae ula tank ?
I basically know nothing about marine or brackish life.
The main goal (beside the jarrariums themselves) would be to add some micro-organisms to the opae ula tank, I like my tank to be bio-actives as it's now called (I just love to have as many critters as possible in my tanks
).
Since I plan to do jarrariums the things I may collect can be kept in separated jars/tank for a long time before I add the to the opae ula tank (as a quarantine measure, to sort them or other reasons), I could even start another brackish tank with selected critters and put some opae ula in it after I have my some babies in the first one in case some of those critters might cause some hazard to the shrimps.
