Seems like the longest Opae Ula in my tank. I am sure you or others might have longer Opae Ula.

How are you sucking them up with the straw? I've used a turkey baster before.

Thumb on straw end and release when straw is in the water next to larva. Thumb back to hold. Is there a term for this?

New additions to my main tank, the Hawaiian Reef Dwarf Hermit Crab or Left Hand Hermit Crab. Notice the left claw is around 10 times larger than the right claw. The scientific name is Calcinus laevimanus species.
Now I need to figure out the name of the other Hawaiian Dwarf Hermit Crabs I have originally which the claws are the same size. Below is how they look. Anyone have any ideas?

Just a data point. Notice only female Alpha was berried on 3/29/18 and noticed on 4/30/18 she was berried again.

For those who are into Dwarf Hermit crabs. Notice how strong the “inhaling/sucking” is with particles going into his mouth from a distance away.
