They are so pretty. I hope hat you have great luck with them. Now I know that sales person was just
thinking about the health of the snails but, wow! I never came across someone who refused to sell unless certain criteria was met. Maybe this person needs to do a little more research on aquaria pets.

I've noticed I seem to find berried mother shrimps when we have very hot weather. The tank water usually sits at about 21 deg C on a normal day but it's currently been 27 - 28 deg C in the tank. Maybe this has something to do with reproduction? Could just be a coincidence too.

I spotted one of the previous baby shrimps tonight! all white and very small still, i also purchased some new spirulina powder by ShrimpLab. I tested a small amount and the Opae ula ate it all up

Ah, Spirulina! Nectar for Opae ULA! Did the baby get any of it? I wonder. That's one of the first foods I will buy for them.

I finally managed to get the last zerba nerite snail out of the smaller tank and into my large #03 tank! I must admit i got inpatient and removed the large ocean rock and plucked him away as this snail would just not come out into the open for me to get  . While i was at it i put the rock back and moved it up into the corner of the tank to try and make a large 'cave' for the banded shrimp and will put a cover around the corner of the tank like i have done with my Alpha tank to block out all the light getting in behind the rock.

While messing around with the snail i saw the berried female again in tank #03 that i posted images of previously and noticed a 2nd berried female, this time a dark red Opae ula with a larger clutch of eggs! she was very hard to photograph so i only got a few 'bad' photos but you get the idea for now

First berried mom from before: And the 2nd berried mom who i just discovered: Lets hope i have at least 20 larvae in a month or so's time
